Simple Seeds #14

We are going to go deeper today.

Rom 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. (“In” can also be interpreted as through)

Jesus Said Jhn 14:6 - Jhn 14:6 - Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”

Jesus Said Jhn 10:27 My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me.

What does the voice of God Sound like? His voice is the sound of holiness, and gives instruction that will bring us closer to Him.

Exd 39:30 They made the plate, the sacred diadem, out of pure gold and engraved on it, like an inscription on a seal: HOLY TO THE Lord.
The plate was on the crown worn on the turban.

1Ch 16:29 Ascribe to the Lord the glory due his name; bring an offering and come before him!
Worship the Lord in the splendor of holiness;*
(also interpreted Holy attire) The blood of Jesus is our holy attire.

Hbr 10:19 And so, dear brothers and sisters, we can boldly enter heaven's Most Holy Place because of the blood of Jesus. Hbr 10:20 This is the new, life-giving way that Christ has opened up for us through the sacred curtain, by means of his death for us.

When Jesus died the sky darkened. There was an earthquake and the veil “sacred curtain” of the temple was torn from top to bottom.

The centurion soldier said Mat 27:54 Now when the centurion, and they that were with him, watching Jesus, saw the earthquake, and those things that were done, they feared greatly, saying, Truly this was the Son of God. The word ‘truly’ means: in reality, most certainly, in his eyes there was no doubt.
This centurion at Jesus death recognized authority.

In Mat 8:9-10 there was another centurion who recognized Jesus for who he really is. Mat 8:9 For I myself am a man under authority, with soldiers under me. I tell this one, 'Go,' and he goes; and that one, 'Come,' and he comes. I say to my servant, 'Do this,' and he does it." Mat 8:10 When Jesus heard this, he was astonished and said to those following him, "I tell you the truth, I have not found anyone in Israel with such great faith.

He was a man under authority so he recognized authority.

If we are to know the voice of God we first must recognize His authority. He is the ultimate authority. He is authority! The word authority has the word author in it. He is the author of Life.

Hbr 12:1 Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, Hbr 12:2 looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

He is the author of the Bible. He is the Bible. The Bible is word faith that when spoken will produce life, because the author is life. As we read the word, it stirs who we really are: faith man / a man made alive by the word, a man made alive by Fire!

1Pe 4:12 - 1Pe 4:12 - Beloved, do not be surprised at the firey trial when it comes upon you to test you, as though something strange were happening to you. 1Pe 4:13 But rejoice insofar as you share Christ's sufferings, that you may also rejoice and be glad when his glory is revealed.


It is impossible to please God without faith. It is impossible to live a life of holiness without faith. It is impossible to please God without faith. Jesus is faith. We cannot be pleasing to God without accepting the way to salvation.

But there is more:.

Gal 2:20 I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body I live by faith in the Son of God who loved me and gave himself for me.


The only way to live by faith is for the old sinful nature to be dead!

The voice of God is heard through His blood that gives you the ability to hear.

Act 17:28 for in Him we live and move and exist as even some of your own poets have said, 'For we also are His children.'

To exist is to live beyond the reach of sin. It is time to know Jesus, to hear His voice through holiness.

The word of God is precious and we must know what He is telling us in this hour. His sheep know His voice. I question how many of the sheep really know His voice.

I know His voice. Do you know His voice?

Eze 43:2 and I saw the glory of the God of Israel coming from the east. His voice was like the roar of rushing waters, and the land was radiant with his glory.

Jesus is coming from the East. His voice is heard through his Prophets. His word lights the way of our path.

We have been given POWER over every plan of the enemy!

Wake up (REPENT) put on the power of Holiness. Its splendor will lead you to the throne of God.

You are to rise above every plot and plan of the enemy.
