Simple Seeds #5

Phl 3:13 Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but [this] one thing [I do], forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before.

Phl 3:14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

Phl 3:15 Let us therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus minded: and if in anything ye be otherwise minded, God shall reveal even this unto you.

Let’s focus on Phl 3:15 being thus minded is to be in agreement. God wants His children to walk in the power of this principle. If there are things we are not sure of God will reveal Himself (Jesus) through the Word. You will find the answers together.

Exd 17:7-14 Moses was faced with a battle. This will happen on your way to the promised land. The tactics of the enemy were to pick off the weak. Moses told Joshua to go and pick out specific warriors to fight the enemy. Moses would go up on the mountain with the rod of God in his hand. When you are going to fight an adversary that focuses on the weak you cannot have people around you that are weak minded to the things of God. We do not have the ability to fight a battle over destiny in our own strength.

Moses became tired and he began to lower the Rod. At this moment Israel began to suffer loss. God placed Aaron and Hur in Moses life to hold up his arms. They gave Moses there strength. The battle was won.

We are either called to the front line or called to lift up.

We are in a strategic place right now. God has placed us where we are to see a great outpouring of His Spirit, through us. Phl 3:13 Paul is saying to forget those things which are behind. If we are willing, Christ will show us what He sees in us. All of us have weaknesses. We all miss it at times. Satan is the accuser. He will use whatever he can to gain a stronghold in your thinking. He will try to keep you from fulfilling your purpose.

Confess your faults to Christ. Go forward! Are you the one today who will attain the prize of the high calling? The prize is in Jesus Christ.

Act 17:28 For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring. Every step we take is in Him, every move we make is Him moving.

Hbr 12:2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of [our] faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

We need to understand that Jesus is the author of life. He has paid the price for the last chapter of the book to be complete. Our Job is to know the author by the book He has written. This book is living Rhema to the believer.

Jhn 1:14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

Jesus is the word that dwells with us. He is the lamp for our eyes to see and He lights our pathway.

Are you in a place of making a difficult decision? The light of Christ will show you the way. The path we are on cannot be walked in our own vision. We must see through the light of the word. The word is our guide.

God will place certain people around us, but it is the word that has complete authority for the decision to be correct. You can always tell if someone is walking in the word when the fire is turned up.

Moses experienced this many times with the children of Israel. He walked in the pathway that was ablaze by the word of God. Those who did not have this relationship could not see the path before them. They could not see the path. When Pharaoh came after them to destroy them the first thing they saw was the their captor, not their leader.

We need to know the One who leads our day. Situations are going to rise up. Our pathway is through the impossible. There will always be a reason why it cannot be done.

Mar 9:23 Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things [are] possible to him that believeth.

The believer has no reason to be afraid of what he sees in front of him. We have the light of Christ, speak the Word.

We are to see the impossible made possible.
