Exd 13:21 And the LORD went before them by day in a pillar of a cloud, to lead them the way; and by

night in a pillar of fire, to give them light; to go by day and night:


Exd 13:22 He took not away the pillar of the cloud by day, nor the pillar of fire by night, [from] before

the people.


There are times God will allow you to see His leading and feel His presence of freedom. You’re moving

away from slavery into destiny. You are seeing through a glass that is dark. What’s really there will be

revealed to you over time.


1. God is too awesome for us to comprehend. Job 26:6-14 gives a description of the awesomeness of God.

2. What you are following requires prophetic interpretation.

Israel was led by a pillar that could be seen as a cloud during the day and fire by night.

Here are the meanings of the words used:

1. Pillar – Mountain, in Job 26:11 word meaning Pillar of Heaven

2. Cloud - Veil Over, in Ezekiel 30:18 word meaning Very large army

3. Fire - Altar fire and war.

The temple had not yet been built. Israel was behind the veil walking in the holy of holies. When the Egyptians came after them the veil of fire went behind them to block the Egyptians. This is the army of the Lord leading, then moving behind them. When God is bringing you out of captivity you are not walking out under your own power. You are escorted by His army into His presence!

Psa 119:105 NUN. Thy word [is] a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.

God’s word goes out as a mighty army that leads the way. Israel was being led by the word not flesh. The word is a covering veil that surrounds you. The word is our protection and cannot be defeated. The word is protecting you from the enemy.

Exd 14:2 God speaks to Moses telling Him to encamp between Migdol and the sea because pharaoh is coming. Migdol was a fortified city on the Egyptian border. The word “Jesus” will lead us to a place where the enemy is strongest. You know you are close to victory when this happens. Your flesh will cringe and your imperfections will be seen. Jesus is going to cut a facet in the diamond that will reflect His presence. When this happens you will be given the wisdom, knowledge, and understanding to walk beyond yourself. You will be given discernment and be able to hear His voice speaking what you hear into the lives of those around you. Here is where you walk in His strength, Resurrection Power.

Jesus – “ the word” leads you to a place of battle, here is where you will see the enemy defeated.

Exd 14:3 God wanted pharaoh to see Israel entangled in the land. Do you feel like an easy target for the enemy? If you have followed the word you are not! It is time for VICTORY!!

God will harden the heart of the enemy so he will chase you. This will show you what is in your heart. God is stirring up a new gift for you; a gift of hope, the substance of faith.

Israel was a nation of slaves. This is all they knew. God was almost a legend to them before Moses showed up. The world sees God as legend today, we are now in the last days on earth where the enemy is running around as the destroyer. It looks like we are entangled in the land. The light you are following is consuming you.

Have you ever tried to cover a light with a shadow? You can’t. It is time for you to walk by faith and see the enemy destroyed before your eyes. God is revealing himself to his people through His servants who can hear His voice.

What is God saying to you? Are you following Him? To be led is a privilege.

Jam 1:2 My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations;

Jam 1:3 Knowing [this], that the trying of your faith worketh patience.

Jam 1:4 But let patience have [her] perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.

God is working patience in you. He wants us in a place where we want nothing but Him.

Look close and you will see Jesus leading in this direction. You are going to cross the red sea! This may not be in your plan.

Jesus said Isa 55:8 For my thoughts [are] not your thoughts, neither [are] your ways my ways, saith the LORD. His way is Higher, Greater, this way is perfect!

By crossing you are saying, “Jesus I want nothing but you, I want to see you in everything I am, and all that I have”. This is a place of complete baptism in Him.

Ex 14:13 Moses tells the people fear not, stand still and see the salvation of the Lord. The enemies tactic isn’t to show you his great army of destruction. He wants you to fear him. We are only to fear God, this brings wisdom followed by understanding. Your eyes are going to be opened to see the armies of the Lord.

Your weapon is the word. Your victory has already been foretold. Your destiny is to win.

Joe 2:11 And the LORD shall utter his voice before his army: for his camp [is] very great: for [he is] strong that executeth his word: for the day of the LORD [is] great and very terrible; and who can abide it?

2Ki 6:17 And Elisha prayed, and said, LORD, I pray thee, open his eyes, that he may see. And the LORD opened the eyes of the young man; and he saw: and, behold, the mountain [was] full of horses and chariots of fire round about Elisha.
